Organisations - Bible Study
Wednesday Evenings
-7.30pm-9.00pm
Bible Study - we meet in the Rectory to have
fellowship together around God's Word. At present we are studying the life
of Joseph from the book of Genesis. The bible study is open to everyone and
you would be most welcome to join us any evening.
Jack also leads an 'inductive bible study' on Wednesday
evenings, 7.30pm-9pm and it meets in the Henly Room at Holy Trinity. At
present they are working their way through the letter of James from the New
Testament. Inductive bible study is a simple structured method of reading a
passage to understand the main thought or point of the passage.
There are also two bible study groups for men - if you
are interested in joining one of these groups then please speak to Maurice
Langley.
We also have several bible study groups for women and
if you are interested in one of these groups please speak to Janet McCann or
Louise Ingram.
Libby Todd also has a bible study group (women) which
meets in her home on a Tuesday morning and again you should speak to Libby
if you are interested in joining.
There are plenty of opportunities to come together at
various times during the week to study the bible together, please avail of
these opportunities.
