The Praise Team

A praise team has been in existence in Holy Trinity for over 10 years. The first group was established by the then-curate in charge, Rev. Derek Kerr. Music ministry has continued to develop and progress in Holy Trinity ever since.

For the last six years Louise Hanley has led the Praise Team. This team of musicians is made up of efficient, hard working and dedicated individuals, who frequently give of their musical best for those in Holy Trinity.

Our Aim
Our aim is to encourage the family of Holy Trinity to find greater expression of praise, both corporately and privately, in order to bring God most glory. We believe that God alone is worthy of our praise, all honour and all glory.

To Him belongs eternal praise
Psalm 111: 10b

Our Goals

  • To sing songs that complement the teaching of the Word and stir hearts to encounter God in Word and Spirit.
  • To follow the Holy Spirit's lead, through music, to motivate people to confess their sin, praise and glorify God, so to become faithful, humble, holy and obedient disciples living each day for Him.
  • To follow the Holy Spirit's lead, through music, to minister to the hearts of those in this church, as God brings healing, renewal and restoration.
  • With reverence and dignity we seek to find new and creative ways to involve and encourage Holy Trinity to put God first and worship Him alone.
  • To encourage everyone in Holy Trinity to participate in worship (it is not a spectator sport!!).
  • To develop and nurture the musical skills of those in the church as they seek to serve and use their talents for God's glory.

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do,
do it all to the glory of God.

1 Corinthians 10: 31
