Organisations - Youth Club

Holy Trinity Youth Club is run by a committee of Christians who belong to Holy
Trinity Church .We open on Friday Nights 7.30 pm to 10.00 pm for children and
young people from P5 upwards.
As
a Church Based Youth Club our first aim is Teach and Promote Christian
Spirituality to the young people of Carrickfergus.
Our nightly program allows
the young people to play football, volleyball and many indoor games. They have
the use of a TV, video and the disco equipment. We have held a number of classes
on cookery, crafts, drug awareness and religious education. We have in the past
organised trips to the cinema, ice rink, bowls and water`sports.
Our program may vary from night to night but our
ethos is strictly Christian and shall remain so. A portion of our night is
devoted to an epilogue, which we feel is a great outreach to the young people in
our community who might never get the chance to hear about our Lord Jesus
Christ.
